Massive business deals related to Ukraine’s reconstruction are underway, independent of ceasefire hopes. A recent conference in Gdańsk saw agreements totaling 10 billion euros. This reconstruction effort is increasingly recognized as a significant business and geopolitical process in its own right. Hungary is currently not involved in these emerging opportunities. The deals signify a proactive approach to rebuilding Ukraine despite ongoing conflict. This signals a strong international commitment to Ukraine’s future, economically and strategically. The exclusion of Hungarian companies from these initial agreements raises questions about their future role in the reconstruction process.
