Twenty-four secondary school students in Uganda participated in a mentorship program with Absa Bank, spending a day shadowing senior executives. The initiative aimed to provide practical experience in leadership and decision-making within a professional banking environment. Students from various schools across the country were selected for the opportunity. Absa Bank Uganda organized the event to expose young people to potential career paths and foster future business leaders. The program offered insights into the daily operations and challenges faced by bank executives. This mentorship experience is part of Absa’s broader commitment to youth development and skills enhancement in Uganda. The initiative hopes to inspire the next generation of Ugandan business professionals.
