Two Mongolian para-athletes, G. Gan-Erdene and N. Amin-Erdene, have been selected for the "Road to Aichi-Nagoya" scholarship program, designed to support athletes competing in the Asian Para Games. The 5th Asian Para Games will be held in Japan from October 18th to 24th, with around 40 Mongolian athletes expected to participate in 10 sports. As part of the program, the athletes will undergo training in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from September 11th to 19th, alongside other international athletes. They will be accompanied by their coach, D. Makhashiri, a Merited Trainer of Mongolia. Both athletes have demonstrated significant potential, with G. Gan-Erdene having broken a Paralympic record in shot put and discus, and N. Amin-Erdene being the youngest member of the Mongolian team at just 16 years old. The team hopes to gain valuable experience and achieve success at the upcoming Asian Para Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
