Two people were transported to hospitals after a boat ran aground in Vikevik, Vindafjord municipality, Norway. Police in Agder reported one person was airlifted to Stavanger universitetssykehus, while the other was taken to Haugesund sykehus by ambulance. Authorities were alerted around 5:30 AM about the incident in Vikevik, located within Vindafjord municipality in Rogaland. The two individuals on board the boat contacted emergency services themselves, and both were conscious and alert at the time of the call. They were both taken to hospital shortly after 6:00 AM. Police state they have no information suggesting additional people were on the open leisure boat. (NTB)
