Turkey’s Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) continued today with the administration of its second and third sessions. The second session, the Field Proficiency Test (AYT), commenced at 10:15 AM local time with 1,627,960 registered candidates. The AYT concluded at 1:15 PM, providing students with 180 minutes to answer 160 questions. Later today, the third and final session, the Foreign Language Test (YDT), will begin at 3:45 PM, with 203,639 applicants. Candidates were barred from entry to exam halls after 10:00 AM for the AYT and 3:30 PM for the YDT. The YDT will allot 120 minutes for 80 questions.
