The Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) prevented the entry of 5,800 imported products into Turkey over the past year. This action stemmed from safety inspections of 243,000 imported goods. The products failed to meet Turkish technical regulations and established standards. These inspections are part of ongoing efforts to ensure product safety for consumers. The TSE’s oversight covers a wide range of imported items, safeguarding against substandard or potentially dangerous goods. This represents a significant effort to maintain quality control within the Turkish market and protect domestic consumers. The institute continues to rigorously examine imported products to uphold these standards.
