Tunisia’s economy is being bolstered by both tourism and contributions from its diaspora, providing vital foreign currency needed to finance exports amidst ongoing economic challenges. During the first nine months of the year, tourism generated 6.3 billion Tunisian dinars (DT) for Tunisia. This translates to a substantial €4 billion influx, signaling the continued importance of the tourism sector as a primary driver of the Tunisian economy. These financial resources are crucial for navigating the recent economic crisis that has impacted the country. The diaspora also plays a significant role in providing financial support to Tunisia. The combined impact of these two sources offers a pathway toward economic stabilization for Tunisia.
