Following the recent formation of Skydance superstudio, reports indicate a revival of major film franchises. Paramount Pictures is bringing back the Transformers series, marking a significant return for the iconic robots. This new installment will be the first Transformers film made without Peter Cullen, who recently passed away. However, the franchise will still be helmed by the established directing duo of Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg. Bradley Cooper was recently cast in a new G.I. Joe project, signaling a broader trend of reviving popular series. The return of Bay and Spielberg promises a continuation of the action and spectacle fans have come to expect from the Transformers films.
