Train services between Cumilla and Chattogram, Bangladesh, resumed Wednesday evening after a three-hour disruption. The delays were caused by two separate incidents near Nangalkot upazila. First, the engine of the Sonar Bangla Express train malfunctioned, halting its progress. Simultaneously, four wheels of a carriage on the Meghna Express, travelling from Chattogram to Chandpur, derailed. Railway authorities worked to address both issues, restoring connectivity between the two major cities. No injuries were reported as a result of either incident. Investigations are underway to determine the causes of the engine failure and derailment.
