Toyota’s Yaris Cross topped Vietnam’s auto sales chart in May, selling 1,430 units and reclaiming the number one position. The Mitsubishi Xpander and Mazda CX-5 followed as the second and third best-selling vehicles, respectively. This sales data indicates a strong preference for gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles among Vietnamese consumers during the month. Notably absent from the top rankings were any models from South Korean manufacturers. The results suggest a shift in consumer preference or market dynamics impacting Korean automotive brands in Vietnam. This data provides insight into current automotive trends and brand performance within the Vietnamese market. Further analysis is needed to determine the long-term implications of this sales pattern.
