A Vietnamese tour guide is being sought internationally for allegedly organizing the illegal travel of three Vietnamese citizens to the United Kingdom. Between June and October 2023, Hoàng Thanh Cương is accused of assisting the individuals in submitting fraudulent applications for UK tourist visas. These applications reportedly contained false information regarding relationships, employment, and financial status. The intent was not tourism, but rather to enter the UK and subsequently work illegally. Authorities allege Cương facilitated the scheme to allow the individuals to remain in the UK unlawfully for employment purposes. A warrant has been issued for his arrest as investigations continue into the extent of the operation. This case highlights ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking and illegal immigration.
