A fire broke out at Takinogawa Third Elementary School in Tokyo’s Kita Ward around 11:00 AM on Tuesday. Smoke was observed emanating from a music room on the fourth floor, prompting a large response from the Tokyo Fire Department, deploying 54 vehicles. Students and staff evacuated to nearby parks as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. Authorities have rescued three children who were outside the school building. Police and fire officials are currently assessing the situation to determine the extent of injuries and confirm whether anyone remains inside the school. The school is located in a residential area approximately 150 meters south of Tsubuyamayama Station on the Tokyo Sakura Tram line.
