Benjamim Corte-Real, from Timor-Leste, has been inaugurated as the new President of the General Assembly of the International Institute of the Portuguese Language (IILP). The announcement was made by the IILP, an institution of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP). The IILP is based in Cabo Verde.
