A fire broke out at a construction site on the east side of Olympyn Güür (Olympic Bridge) in the I Khoroo (1st district) of Sükhbaatar District, Ulaanbaatar, at 22:48 local time. More than 40 firefighters and rescue workers from four Ulaanbaatar fire departments, along with over 10 vehicles, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, they found insulation materials on the roof of a new building under construction were on fire, and extinguishing efforts began immediately. According to the General Emergency Management Department, three individuals were successfully rescued from the burning building. Firefighting operations are ongoing to fully extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and further updates will be provided as they become available.
