A comprehensive mapping project by DN reveals that over 10,000 residential buildings in Sweden are at risk of sea-level flooding. These threats are expected to materialize over the coming decades as sea levels rise. The investigation identifies 17 specific high-risk areas across the country. To assist the public, DN has launched an interactive map service. This tool allows homeowners to determine if their specific property is located within a danger zone. The data highlights the growing vulnerability of coastal infrastructure to climate change. Residents in these identified regions are encouraged to assess their risk levels.
