Thousands of Madrasah Scout Camp participants in South Sulawesi held a special Istisqa prayer, requesting rainfall. The event took place at the Yasin Limpo Cadika campsite in Gowa Regency. The prayer was conducted amid concerns over increasingly dry conditions in the region. Participants hope the Istisqa will encourage rainfall and alleviate potential drought impacts. This year’s camp involves numerous scouts from across the province. The collective prayer demonstrates a blend of scouting activities and cultural/religious practices. Organizers emphasized the importance of seeking divine help alongside practical conservation efforts.
