The “Thousand Horsemen” tourism event, aimed at preserving equestrian culture and promoting tourism, is continuing for its second day at the “Khhaan’s King Horse Park” within the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. Organized by the National Agency for Tourism, the event features the international “Hiimori” mounted archery competition, a horse procession called “Adun Tövörgön,” and a horse show titled “Khhaan’s King Genghis Khan.” Competitions showcasing herders’ skills, veterinary training, purebred horse displays, wrestling, horsehead fiddle exhibitions, and handicrafts are also part of the festival. A total of 14 athletes from Japan, Canada, the Commonwealth of Australia, the USA, the United Mexican States, and the French Republic are participating in the open international competition, alongside 73 athletes from Mongolia. Participants will compete in mounted archery and Mongolian knuckle-bone shooting, testing their speed, strength, and skill. The event is open to the public for viewing and enjoyment.
