Yiu Xin Yin founded The Moxie Collective after experiencing image-based sexual abuse (IBSA). Following her own struggles with isolation and a frustrating reporting process, she partnered with three other women to create a support system. The organization serves as a Singapore-based community dedicated to helping survivors feel seen and supported. Beyond individual aid, the collective actively pushes for greater public awareness regarding the nature of IBSA. They emphasize that the materials involved are not merely "content," but the digital likenesses of real people. By reframing the conversation, they aim to foster a deeper understanding of the trauma involved. Their goal is to improve the support landscape for those affected by digital sexual violence.
