Thammasat University in Bangkok has achieved the top global ranking for its contributions to Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG16), focusing on peace, justice, and strong institutions. The recognition comes from the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, released on June 24th. This places Thammasat as a world leader in these crucial areas of sustainable development. The university also secured a 46th-place ranking overall among 1,603 institutions assessed by THE. The rankings assess universities’ impact on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. This achievement highlights Thammasat’s commitment to fostering peaceful and just societies.
