Thailand’s Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendradevi passed away on Friday at the age of 47 after being in a coma for over three years. The Royal Household Bureau announced her death in a statement, confirming she had been unconscious since December 2022. The princess collapsed while training her dogs and was subsequently diagnosed with a severe irregular heartbeat caused by a mycoplasma infection. Despite extensive medical treatment, her condition did not improve. Princess Bajrakitiyabha was the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn and was considered a key figure in the royal family, with a prominent role in legal affairs. Her passing marks a period of mourning for the nation.
