Every Sunday, young students in Nakhon Pathom attend free Khon and traditional Thai dance classes at Wat Phai Lom temple. Dressed in traditional attire – white T-shirts and red *jong kraben* – they learn the graceful movements of this classical art form while accompanied by traditional Thai music. The classes are part of an initiative aimed at preserving and promoting Thai cultural heritage. These lessons offer children a unique opportunity to connect with their traditions and develop skills in a performing art. The setting within a temple provides a culturally significant environment for learning. This initiative underscores the importance of intergenerational knowledge transfer in safeguarding Thailand’s rich artistic legacy.
