A teenage boy has died after drowning in the Black Sea near Olimp, Romania, on Sunday, August 16th. Emergency services were alerted after two people were reported missing in the Star of the Sea area of the Olimp coast. Firefighters from Mangalia, including a rescue boat and fire engine, responded to the scene, along with ten divers and three support vehicles. Lifeguards recovered the first victim from the water. A search is currently underway for the second missing person. The Constanța ISU (Inspectorate for Emergency Situations) confirmed the incident and is coordinating the ongoing rescue efforts. Authorities have not yet released details about the identities of the missing individuals.
