The Ústí nad Labem Region has approved the lease and subsequent sale of land in the Triangle industrial zone near Louny to Taiwanese company TaMiCo Zatec. TaMiCo plans to construct a facility for cleaning and surface treatment of components used in semiconductor manufacturing. The anticipated investment totals 914 million Czech crowns. The new plant is expected to create up to one thousand jobs in the region. This represents a significant foreign investment for the area and a boost to the Czech semiconductor supply chain. The project aims to support the growing demand for semiconductor components globally. Regional officials anticipate positive economic impacts from the development.
