Renowned Swedish chip and nanotechnology expert Henry Homayoun Radamson has died in Shanghai, China, at the age of 63. Radamson passed away on August 12th from a sudden illness, according to the Guangdong Greater Bay Area Institute of Integrated Circuit and System, where he served as chief scientist. He relocated to China in 2016 and focused on advancing research in integrated circuits. Radamson was highly respected for his work exploring the application of nanotechnology to medical diagnostics. His research also encompassed the development of short-wave infrared chips. The loss marks a significant occasion for the field of microelectronics and biomedical engineering.
