A 22-year-old Greek contestant, Stavros Floros, is suing the producers of *Survivor Greece* in the United States after a spearfishing accident led to the amputation of his leg. The incident occurred during filming of the show’s thirteenth season in the Dominicaanse Republiek, outside of scheduled program activities. Floros and another contestant were struck by a tourist boat, resulting in the severe injury and subsequent 61-day hospital stay in Miami, Florida, where he underwent multiple surgeries. He is seeking over 100 million dollars in damages from producers, including Turkish businessman Acun Ilicali, alleging negligence and a lack of safety measures. Court documents claim the production failed to provide adequate safety precautions despite known heavy tourist boat traffic near the filming location. The lawsuit will be held in Florida as Ilicali makes decisions regarding the show from his home in Miami.
