Sculptor and documentary photographer Ubey Talha Akkaya will present “Yol” (The Path), a multidisciplinary exhibition exploring the inner journey of a dervish. The exhibition portrays seven distinct states experienced during this spiritual quest. Akkaya utilizes a variety of artistic disciplines to convey the themes of Sufi culture. “Yol” aims to bridge traditional Sufi concepts with a modern artistic approach. The exhibition offers a visual and conceptual representation of the dervish’s internal experience. It provides audiences with a unique perspective on Sufism through contemporary art forms.
