A university student was arrested at Bukit Kayu Hitam on Monday while attempting to smuggle cannabis buds into Malaysia. Authorities intercepted the suspect, who is enrolled at a private higher education institution, with 14.63kg of the drug. The seized cannabis buds are estimated to have a street value of RM1.17 million. The suspect was attempting to transport the drugs from a neighbouring country.
