Heavy winds swept through the Wielkopolska region, prompting over 250 emergency responses from firefighters. The storm caused roofs to be torn off buildings and downed power lines, resulting in outages. Fallen trees blocked roads and damaged vehicles, creating hazardous conditions. Fortunately, despite the widespread damage, the Poznań Fire Department reports no injuries have been recorded in the most serious incidents. Warnings about the strong winds were issued nationwide prior to the storm’s arrival. Authorities are currently assessing the full extent of the damage and working to restore power and clear blocked roadways.
