South Korea’s Small and Medium Business Corporation (SMEBC) is partnering with supermarket and convenience store associations to launch nationwide sales of “Mantang” beer. The initiative will see the new beer brand available in approximately 30,000 local supermarkets and smaller retail outlets across the country. Squeeze맥주 (Squeeze맥주), the Korean Supermarket Cooperative Association, the Korea Mart Association, and KVC are among the organizations collaborating on the project. The aim is to boost sales for small businesses by offering a unique product and increasing foot traffic. This expansion represents a significant distribution network for Mantang beer, moving beyond initial limited availability. The SMEBC anticipates the partnership will provide a valuable boost to the local retail sector.
