The Slovak state fund has imposed a €500,000 fine on battery manufacturer InoBat for breaching an investment agreement, the details of which remain undisclosed. Simultaneously, the government approved an additional €145 million in funding for an industrial park in Šurany, where InoBat is constructing a battery plant in partnership with Gotion. The fine relates to a factory in Voderady, near Trnava, stemming from a violation of the original contract.
