Bratislava-based teacher Zuzana Tkáčová believes today’s high school students in Slovakia may change their professions up to five times throughout their working lives. She attributes this anticipated volatility to the increasing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Tkáčová emphasizes that flexibility and a commitment to lifelong learning are crucial skills for students to develop. AI offers the opportunity to learn anything, but simultaneously necessitates adaptability, preventing individuals from settling into a single, long-term role. This dynamic future requires openness to continuously acquiring new knowledge and skills. Tkáčová shared these insights during a presentation in Bratislava in October. The changing job market driven by AI will demand continuous professional development for future generations in Slovakia.
