A new documentary, “Dvě deci tuše” (Two Deciliters of Ink), offers a personal look at the life of the late Czech Japanologist, Petr Geisler. Created by his daughters, Ester and Anna Geislerova, the film is constructed from cherished memories and archival footage. The project stemmed from a desire to understand and fully capture their father’s complex personality. “Dvě deci tuše” is a Czech-produced film, co-created with Czech Television. It recently began its theatrical run in Czech cinemas on August 6th. The documentary promises an intimate and moving tribute to a respected academic and father figure.
