The investigation into the death of singer Güllü, who fell from her sixth-floor apartment in Yalova, Turkey, has concluded. An indictment names the singer’s daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, 28, as the primary suspect, and a friend, Sultan Nur Ulu, 25, as a secondary suspect. Prosecutors are seeking an aggravated life sentence for Gülter, alleging she deliberately led her mother to the window before pushing her to her death. The indictment details Gülter playing her mother’s favorite song, “Malkata,” before saying “Let’s say goodbye” and forcibly throwing her from the 18-meter height. The song is believed to have been part of a planned act. Investigators also found evidence suggesting the suspect researched methods for fleeing the country following the incident.
