National Library Board (NLB) announced closures for both Queenstown and Ang Mo Kio libraries this summer to facilitate upgrades. Ang Mo Kio Library will close on August 1st as it prepares to move into the AMK Hub shopping mall. Queenstown Library will temporarily close from August 31st for renovations designed to modernize the interior space. The exterior facade of the Queenstown Library, a recognizable landmark, will be preserved during the revamp. These improvements aim to enhance the library experience for patrons. The NLB has not yet specified reopening dates for either location. These closures are part of ongoing efforts to improve library facilities across Singapore.
