Multiple workers from three separate companies in Singapore have reported unpaid wages, raising concerns about labor practices. All three firms share a common director, Ramu Palani Velu, a Singapore Permanent Resident who holds directorships in seven companies locally. Velu has reportedly left Singapore, complicating efforts to resolve the wage disputes. The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is investigating the situation and assisting affected workers in recovering their salaries. This is not the first instance of wage complaints against companies linked to Velu. The ongoing investigation aims to determine the extent of the unpaid wages and ensure compliance with Singapore’s employment laws. Authorities are working to locate Velu to address the issues and prevent similar occurrences.
