Serbia is facing a tragic start to swimming season, with multiple drowning incidents reported across the country. Two men drowned after falling from a boat in the Tisza River. A separate incident in Ćićevac resulted in the deaths of two boys, aged 11 and 12. Authorities have warned that even strong swimmers are at risk, emphasizing that physical strength does not guarantee safety in the water. Another body was discovered in the West Morava river. These incidents underscore the dangers of swimming in rivers and highlight the need for increased vigilance, particularly regarding children. Officials are urging caution and adherence to safety guidelines during the summer months.
