Senegalese international goalkeeper Mory Diaw has officially left French club Le Havre AC to join Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League. The transfer was finalized Monday after days of speculation and agreement between the two clubs. Diaw, 33, enjoyed a successful 2025-2026 season with Le Havre and recently participated in the 2026 World Cup with Senegal. His departure followed a benching during Le Havre’s opening Ligue 1 match against AS Monaco, with Lionel Mpasi preferred in goal. Le Havre AC publicly thanked Diaw for his contributions and wished him well in his new venture. The move represents a new chapter for Diaw as he joins a Saudi Arabian league attracting increasing international football talent.
