A Senegalese investigation involving actress Mame Diarra Diop, known as Diodio, is nearing completion, with four suspects expected to be presented to a prosecutor Friday. Diop, 22, along with taxi driver Talla Dia, civil engineer Babacar Dièye, and plumber Baye Zalé Mbengue, are facing charges related to criminal association and suspected drug possession. Initially denying drug use, Diop admitted to appearing in a viral video but continues to dispute allegations of drug consumption, claiming to only smoke cigarettes. Investigators report gathering sufficient evidence, including the discovery of approximately 300 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine, to justify the suspects’ detention. The case originated after the widely circulated video sparked an investigation ordered by prosecutor Saliou Dicko. The suspects are accused of possessing cocaine, cannabis, and crack.
