A Senegalese naval vessel is participating in the US-hosted multinational naval exercise, “Fleet Exercise 250,” held in Norfolk, Virginia. Senegal is one of only two African navies involved in the exercise, which includes forces from a total of 18 countries. The exercise aims to bolster international military cooperation and facilitate experience sharing among partner navies. Following “Fleet Exercise 250,” the Senegalese ship will travel to New York to participate in the “International Naval Review 250” on July 4th. This review will gather warships from 27 nations as part of broader maritime celebrations in the United States. The Senegalese participation underscores growing military collaboration between Senegal and the US.
