Senegal’s national aviation and meteorology agency, ANACIM, forecasts continued rainfall and thunderstorms across a broad area of the country this Saturday, June 13th. The southern, eastern, and central regions are under particular meteorological surveillance. Kédougou, Tambacounda, and Bakel in the southeast are expected to experience continuous, potentially intensifying, showers. Rainfall is also predicted to extend into central areas including Kaolack, Fatick, and Diourbel. Northern regions near Linguère may see light showers, while Dakar and Thiès could experience scattered, minimal rainfall. Southern regions, including Kolda and Ziguinchor, are forecast to maintain precipitation between June 17th and 20th. Overall, conditions are expected to remain stable elsewhere with a low probability of significant rainfall.
