A new presidential museum dedicated to Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and his wife, Ani Yudhoyono, has opened in Pacitan, East Java. The museum aims to preserve and showcase the history of their time in office and personal lives. Inspired by a quote from William Faulkner about the enduring nature of the past, the museum seeks to provide insights into SBY's leadership and legacy. Located in a coastal area, the museum's design incorporates elements reflecting the surrounding natural environment. It’s intended as a space for education, research, and remembrance of the couple's contributions to Indonesia. The museum offers a glimpse into their personal story alongside their political careers and achievements. Former DPR-RI leader, Dr. Ramadhan Pohan, highlighted the importance of remembering the past.
