Sawa Energy and dfcu Bank have announced a new partnership aimed at increasing access to affordable and reliable clean energy solutions for businesses in Uganda. Through the “dfcu Go Green – Powered by Sawa Energy” initiative, qualifying small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and corporate clients of dfcu Bank will gain access to fully financed, on-site solar photovoltaic and battery systems. This collaboration seeks to address energy challenges faced by Ugandan businesses and promote sustainable practices. The partnership will facilitate the adoption of renewable energy, reducing reliance on traditional power sources and lowering operational costs for businesses. By providing financing options, the initiative removes a key barrier to entry for companies seeking to invest in solar energy. This move supports Uganda’s broader goals of expanding clean energy access and fostering economic growth.
