Saudi Arabia has resumed oil tanker loadings from the Red Sea port of Yanbu following the restart of the East-West Pipeline, positively impacting oil export prospects from the Middle East. Operations at Yanbu were suspended earlier in September due to a drone attack, which Saudi Arabia attributed to the Houthis. The resumption of loadings led to a decrease in global oil prices as it signals increased supply from the Middle East. State oil company Saudi Aramco informed customers of the October loading schedule from Yanbu, with initial loadings occurring late last week. Satellite imagery from the European Space Agency confirms the loading of approximately 10 million barrels of crude oil at both Yanbu and Al Muajjiz, a terminal south of Yanbu, alongside refined product loadings. Current crude loadings from Yanbu are estimated at around two million barrels per day, with projections of increasing to between three and four million barrels per day in the coming days.
