Romania’s newly launched national digital health platform, “My Health,” is facing significant issues just one day after its release. Despite government assurances of online appointment booking and direct access to medical records, the platform is reportedly non-functional. Reports indicate that while 11 providers are registered, none are currently active. Dr. Raluca Zoițanu described the platform as “untested” and resembling a “demo version,” highlighting major flaws in its implementation. The launch, intended to modernize healthcare access, is currently failing to deliver on its promises. The situation raises questions about the platform’s readiness and the effectiveness of the country's digital health strategy.
