The Ministry of Education and Research released initial results from the 2026 national Teacher Titularization exam on Tuesday, July 28th. Of the 31,623 candidates who received scores, a majority – 16,140 – achieved a grade of 7 or higher on the written examination. This score is the minimum requirement to qualify for indefinite-term teaching positions. The results indicate a strong performance among candidates vying for permanent roles within the public education system. Details regarding the placement process for qualified teachers will be announced shortly. This exam is a key component in staffing Romanian public schools. The ministry expects a competitive placement period, given the number of successful candidates.
