Dan Dungaciu, a top leader of the AUR party, expressed skepticism Thursday regarding the potential for the proposed Tomac government to gain parliamentary approval. In a televised interview, Dungaciu suggested he would be surprised if the government succeeds, implying a likely failure. He indicated that such a failure would have consequences and be duly noted. Dungaciu further clarified that the AUR’s collaboration with the Social Democratic Party (PSD) is purely circumstantial and lacks a broader political foundation. He also floated the possibility of early elections as a potential resolution to the current political situation in Romania. Dungaciu stressed there is no joint political strategy between AUR and PSD.
