Romanian influencer Alexandru Zidaru, known online as Makaveli, was brought to the Bucharest Tribunal Prosecutor's Office on Friday morning for questioning. This follows his overnight detention on Thursday related to allegations of tax evasion and complicity in tax evasion. Zidaru was initially held for over six hours before being formally detained for 24 hours. The investigation centers around potential financial crimes, though specific details of the alleged evasion have not yet been released.
