Romania will introduce a mandatory digital skills assessment as part of the national baccalaureate exam (BAC) starting June 15, 2026. The evaluation, known as “Proba D,” will assess students’ digital competencies. The exam will take place over three days, from June 15th to 17th. Details regarding the exam’s format and specific rules for candidates have been released by education officials. This new requirement aims to ensure graduates possess essential digital skills for further education and the workforce. The assessment will verify the level of digital skills acquired by students throughout their schooling. Further information will be provided to schools and students closer to the exam date.
