Romania has successfully negotiated revisions to its National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) with the European Commission. The agreement, finalized Friday evening, preserves the plan’s total value exceeding €20 billion. Crucially, the component of non-reimbursable European funds remains fully intact. Interim Minister of European Investments and Projects, Dragoş Pîslaru, announced the positive outcome of the negotiations. This approval follows a period of adjustments to the original plan. The revised PNRR is expected to support Romania’s economic recovery and development goals. The agreement ensures Romania can still access the substantial EU funding allocated for post-pandemic recovery.
