Work has begun on the progressive resurfacing of National Route 6 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. As of July 27, 2026, the ECSB/CABTE Sarl consortium is actively mobilizing and initiating key preparatory stages. These include earthworks and the prefabrication of culverts.
